Company Name Change:
Summit Hill Flavors becomes Activ International

Somerset, NJ (January 1, 2014) — Summit Hill Flavors, a member of the Activ International Group since 2010, is pleased to announce the Company will change its name to Activ International as of January 1, 2014.

Activ International is headquartered in Bienne, Switzerland and has been a leader in food ingredient technology since 1984 specializing in natural and organic meat, poultry, seafood, vegetable and vegetarian flavors and extracts, natural colors and specialty grill flavors. In addition to the North American offices and facilities, Activ International operates facilities in Mitry-France, Melaka-Malaysia and Arequipa-Peru.

In addition, the Company will be moving into its new North American Corporate Headquarter, including, R&D, Quality Services Manufacturing to 21 Worlds Fair Drive, Somerset, New Jersey 08873 in the second quarter of 2014.

"This opportunity, will enable us to expand our technology and manufacturing footprint in this state-of-the-art facility, and will position us to drive value in the Americas and to leverage our flavor ingredient technology throughout the Activ International Group globally, while serving our customers locally. Our customers will be the direct beneficiaries of these efforts as we position this location to be Center of Flavor Excellence for the Group," said Dwight Grenawalt, VP-General Manager Summit Hill Flavors.

The existing Activ USA Sales and Administration office in Seattle, WA will also become part of the Activ International North American Corporate Office in NJ on January 1, 2014. The Seattle site office will continue operation in Seattle to support expansion of the west coast business.

The Activ Group continues its commitment to invest in resources globally, in order to serve our customers locally.
