The business was started in 1990 and the facilities for manufacturing, warehousing and administration are located in Middlesex, NJ. Summit Hill^® Flavors has built its business on natural, “clean-label” flavor technology that is unique to the industry.  

We manufacture natural flavor keys and finished, enhanced savory flavors that are designed to deliver the authentic flavor profile of the characteristic raw material, whether it is a meat, poultry, vegetable or vegetarian product. In addition to many of our products being kosher, Summit Hill^® Flavors is currently the sole manufacturer of certified organic flavors for the rapidly growing all-natural, organic food market.
 
We specialize in natural, real meat and poultry, vegetable, vegetarian, culinary cooked flavors and other Specialty Savory Flavors.  We do not use MSG, HVP and AYE in the manufacturing of most of our flavors, but instead, we use the real meat, real vegetables or the specific characterizing raw material to manufacture our savory flavors.
