Regulatory Changes
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has determined that all flavor manufacturers using real meat and poultry in their process operations now come under sole jurisdiction of USDA-FSIS. Summit Hill Flavors uses real meat and poultry in the manufacture of its “natural, clean-label” meat and poultry flavors, and has been granted USDA inspection.

"SEPARATED PHASE" MEAT & POUTRY FLAVORS

DESCRIPTION:
  • Processed from real meat & poultry, lipid & aqueous phases are separated for specific top note profiles.
  • Processed via enzymatic fermentation without MSG, HVP, AYE and artificial ingredients.
BENEFITS:
  • Enhances marinated meat and plated seasoning food products.
  • Duplicates the authentic, natural flavors of cooked meat, poultry and seafood without using artificial flavors or enhancers.
  • Clean product labels, i.e.: FDA "Natural Chicken Flavor" made from real meat or USDA "Chicken Flavor".
